Vanessa Hudgens‘ sophomore album, Identified, has recently been made available for preview and, after hearing it, I am not excited for this record. It sounds like a disaster.

I’ve been feeling “Like Me” since the moment I heard it. Both it and “Stupid Shit” are great songs, but I’m dying to hear them do a mid-tempo or a ballad. So, basically, the wait for the album is killing me.
Girlicious performed at the 2008 Much Music Video Awards in Canada this past weekend and the performance was, just, alright. Very little of the singing was actually live, but the dancing was good, and the girls looked great.
There is even a surprise toward the end of the song. I think you’ll all enjoy it.
Watch the performance after the jump…
I have just been informed that Kerli‘s debut album, “Love Is Dead“, has been pushed up to a release date of July 8th.
That subtracts about one month from our time spent waiting to finally get our hands on a copy of the record that is sure to put Kerli on the map.
As July 1st approaches, Vanessa Hudgens‘ sophomore album, Identified, is almost ready to be released to her fans that are anxiously waiting to hear some new material from her. Her debut album, V, dropped in the late summer of 2006, spawning two singles, with one of them, “Say OK”, making it to the #64 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. With Identified, Vanessa claims to be bringing a more mature, “sophisticated,” album that will be “funky” as well as “fun.”
The music video for Kerli‘s debut single, “Walking On Air“, premiered online today, and I couldn’t have asked for anything more. It’s mystical, creepy, creative, and unique; exactly what we have come to expect from Kerli. You won’t be disappointed.
All the elements of the video make for a unique and unforgettable experience that only Kerli could bring to you with her warm, yet, haunting voice and self-written lyrics. Spinning rooms, a spooky doll, videography tactics that will remind you of some of the most frightening horror movies, and glimpses at the beauty of nature give this video an edge that will intimidate you with its strange beauty, but keep you watching out of intrigue.
For those Usher fans who are counting down the days to May 27th, Amazon has uploaded a full album sampler for Here I Stand.
The album seems to have turned out to be a success; featuring strong production from the likes of Polow da Don, Jermaine Dupri, and Danja. It’s also sporting some solid vocals from Usher, as well, but I’ll have my final verdict after I’ve heard the album in full.
